Worship of Women in Ancient Greek Myth and Culture

Presentation description

This poster discusses heroine cult in Ancient Greek religion, the authors who describe those cults, and the importance of them. The heroines are divided into two categories, and from each category, one heroine was selected, Ariadne from the first and Helen of Sparta from the second, and researched to determine and analyze her function as a goddess and the importance of her role. Along with many other heroines, they were connected to nature, giving them significance unlike male heroes.
