Mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI; i.e. concussions) can lead to gait abnormalities that largely affect balance. Stability during turning also becomes largely affected. This study uses inertial measure unit (IMU) data from single and dual task turning trials to determine the margin of stability (MoS) using the centripetal acceleration during each step. |
