There are more than 160 million people who are a part of the U.S. workforce today. Work is one of the most vital parts of life, shaping our health, wealth, and well-being”. Leaders and employers are now recognizing the impacts of mental health and wellness in the workplace. But “almost 60% of employees have never spoken to anyone at work about their mental health status.” My research focuses on the current gaps in how to support mental health in the workplace, starting with managers/leaders.
