Presentation description
A gap in primary healthcare is rapidly growing in the United States and registered nurses are in a unique position to help to fill it. However, few prelicensure nursing programs are prepared to educate a future generation of effective primary care nurses. This thesis project evaluates the effectiveness of online modules as an innovative method for introducing primary care topics to undergraduate nursing students and assesses baccalaureate students for an interest in primary care nursing.
