Presentation description
Bone injuries/defects affect many people in the US on an annual basis. Repair methods of these injuries need to be investigated, particularly those that involve manufacturing bone repair scaffolds. Hydroxyapatite and flouridated-apatite scaffolds were investigated in this study. My research this semester focused on a pilot study that helped optimize protocols and data analysis for alamarBlue assays and immunohistochemistry staining to determine cell viability and differentiation respectively.
