Non-Invasive Magnetic Resonance Shear Wave Elastography for Breast Cancer Treatment Assessment

Semester: Fall 2022

Presentation description

This study is the verification of magnetic resonance shear wave elastography (MR-SWE) parameters and analysis for in vivo breast tissue. The objective of this research is to establish baseline values of shear wave velocities for various breast tissue across several participants. When this objective is reached, MR-SWE has the potential to be used in breast cancer diagnosis confirmation and in monitoring magnetic resonance guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) treatment or breast cancer.
