Knee Extensor Exercise Training Does Not Improve Cardiac Autonomic Function in Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction?

Semester: Summer 2024

Presentation description

The overall goal of this project was to determine if cardiac autonomic function would be improved following exercise training in patients with heart failure w/ preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). We evaluated cardiac autonomic function using heart rate variability analysis, which assesses variations in the R-R intervals over time during a resting period.
