Presentation description
The use of online pedagogies in an educational environment has become more common since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) projects are one way students have been able to connect with peers from across the world. The research sheds light on the benefits of COIL in understanding racial and gender values, beliefs, and norms between cultures, and student reflections show the importance of student collaborations in developing COIL activities.
