Presentation description
PTSD is a disorder marked by safety behaviors used to avoid distress. Literature suggests scores on observer-rated and self-reported SB can be different, creating a need to examine if this exists with significant PTSD. With ANOVA we examined an observer-rated measure of SB performed by participants exposed to distressing videos compared to a self-reported measure of SB for 3 groups, no trauma, those with trauma but no PTSD, and those with PTSD. Those with PTSD showed differences in SB reporting.
