Exponential Growth Bias: Measurement, Intervention, and Impact on Financial Decision-Making among Emerging Adults

Semester: Fall 2022

Presentation description

Our project aims to examine the impact that exponential growth bias (EGB) has on household financial decisions. Research suggests that when individuals misunderstand the exponential growth-to-time element ratio, financial outcomes are often negatively impacted. This propensity is called the "exponential growth bias" (EGB), and may financially impair individuals and households.
