Presentation description
Navigation depends on sensory integration of visual landmarks and self-motion cues linked to proprioception and vestibular information. This study assesses the impact of concussions on accuracy and reliability of navigation under sensory cues. In a virtual reality (VR) homing task, participants walk to markers, alternating between 3 conditions: visual only, self-motion only, 2-cue consistent. The accuracy of concussion patients is lower than healthy controls.
