Project description

The Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Innovation Laboratory is seeking undergraduate students to lead research efforts at the intersection of molecular imaging, bioengineering, nanomedicine, immunology and theranostics.
Laboratory Research Directions:
1.Use and develop advanced imaging tools to understand the role of the biophysical microenvironment in cancer progression and treatment response.
2. Develop innovative nanomedicine-based approaches for personalized image-guided treatment.

Student Role: Assist in basic chemical and biological experiments, image acquisition, image analysis and scientific writing.

Project Duration: Projects duration: 1-2 semesters or longer. Estimated hours per week: 10-15

Minimum Requirements: Motivated and responsible students are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with cell culture or simple chemical synthesis is desirable. Basic MATLAB or ImageJ skills are a plus.
