Project description

Multi-media and transnational publication by artists, scholars and activists. Themes prioritize migration in multiple contexts. And encompasses the creation of interactive pedagogical and research activities such as flashreads, discussions, events, and publications. Sites are connected to individuals and collectives around the world.

Student Role: Research secondary literature, data analysis, data collection, interviews, coordinating events / discussions / meetings for Dr. Fukushima, attend meetings.
Student Benefits: Students will learn research in interdisciplinary research. Dr. Fukushima research bridges qualitative and quantitative data analysis. She is also an expert in social movement
Project Duration: Student will be expected to commit 10 hours a week.

Paid Description:

Students receive mentorship about applying for UROP.

Minimum Requirements: Student should be a third+ year student with an interest in interdisciplinary, the social sciences or the humanities research.
