Project description

In this project, the undergrad students will assist graduate students in testing the materials, building flow batteries and charge/discharge the batteries. The end goal is to develop a flow battery prototype that has commercial value.

Student Role: conduct experiments, collect data, building battery parts using CNC machine, make proto-type of flow batteries
Student Benefits: lab experience. co-author on a scientific paper
Project Duration: spring, summer, fall. 10 hour/week during spring. 20 hour/week during summer
Opportunity Type: Volunteer; Prepare a UROP proposal; Write an Honors Thesis or Senior Thesis; Earn independent study credit
