My team examines the most severe fatal family violence incidents and students learn to formulate unique research questions, collect news surveillance data across adult age categories, 35 variables, engage in variable coding, statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative content analysis (mixed methods). Goals include collaborative presentations and the potential for publication in academic journal outlets.
