As a computational cognitive scientist, a strong commitment to multi-disciplinarity is not unique to my research, but deeply affects my mentoring philosophy, as I truly believe linguistics to be a natural hub for cross-disciplinary education. I aim to establish a research environment that involves students with varied interests, encouraging fruitful communication and collaboration across fields. I believe mentees are full collaborators, colleagues still gaining expertise, and I support students working with me in taking ownership of their research experience.
