Presentation description

My thesis examines the way the culture created by male athletic programs enables athletes to commit sexual assault. The research shows how a lack of internal and external systems of accountability for athletes can lead to more abuse and a culture of toxic androcentrism. The thesis proposes changes to reporting systems and athletic culture to foster accountability.
