Project description

The premier feminist studies journal “Frontiers” is in need of a student to work with the Editors and Assistant. Primary Focus on website development: communications, scheduling and content development for author, activist, artist interviews for podcasts and other web content. Social media strategies may also be part of the project.

Student Role: • Meet with Editor and Assistant and plan goals
• Maintain consistent communications with Editor and Assistant on projects, timelines, problem-solving
Student Benefits: Insight into journal production; experience working with a collective; opportunity to impact website content; interact with incredible scholars; and mentoring by journal Editor
Project Duration: project is ongoing until July 2023; 5-10 hours per week depending on student schedule

Minimum Requirements: experience or interest in web communications & gender, race, sexuality, disability studies is preferable. coursework in these areas not required but taken into account.
