Presentation description
Because of differences in the magnetic moments among Rare Earth Elements (RE) and critical metals (CM) when dissolved as ions in solution, introducing a magnetic field to a solution with dissolved ions offers a non-chemical method to separate and extract RE/CM ions. This research explores the extent that residence time affects these magnetic field driven separations.
