Mentoring Philosophy:

Professor Malik joined David Eccles School of Business in 2021 after graduating from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with a doctorate degree in business.

Her research interests include non-investor stakeholders (e.g., consumers, local communities, etc.), disclosure, and real effects. At present, she focuses on the intersection of labor economics and accounting, and she studies the impact of disclosure and reporting on job seekers and employees.

Prior to matriculating at Stanford, Professor Malik worked at Cornerstone Research, an economic consulting firm, for five years.
