Guangzhen Wu earned his PhD in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Washington State University. His interests include comparative criminology, policing (police integrity, legitimacy, misconduct, and police-public relations), and drug policy (e.g., effects of marijuana legalization). His research takes an interdisciplinary approach exploring issues related to public safety and justice outcomes from criminological, sociological, and psychological perspectives. Dr. Wu's puhlished work appears in journals such as The British Journal of Criminology, Journal of Criminal Justice, Justice Quarterly, Criminal Justice and Behavior, International Journal of Drug Policy, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Police Quarterly, and Asian Journal of Criminology. His research ariticles were featured or cited in a range of national/international and local media outlets such as Washington Post, The Kansas City Star, Vancouver Sun, The Seattle Times, Colorado Springs Independent, Newsweek, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, and National Affairs.
