My work centers on the holistic design of insect-scale robots. We must approach things as "full-stack" roboticists in order to overcome the extreme resource constraints at this scale.Focuses include investigating electrohydrodynamic (EHD) propulsion for silent solid-state micro air vehicles, and the creation multifunctional components such as airfoils with embedded acoustic transducers.
