Presentation description
This thesis is an analysis of Utah's policy related to intimate partner violence (IPV). It provides a historical overview of the policies that have shaped the current IPV prevention landscape, and analyzes different landmark cases and the policies/lawsuits that have come out of them. By creating timelines, I find that the state of Utah often does not take action until after a tragedy has occurred. I recommend that Utah take a more proactive and preventative approach to IPV policy.
