Presentation description
This research involved categorizing and collecting organic remains from a cave in the Snake Range. These have been dated around 1,728 to 16,319 years old. The relative abundance of plant species at different levels can help us infer the region's general paleoclimate and the communities of plants that dominated it. I prepared sediment to be picked by washing it in a fine mesh, and then I picked out and identified the organic remains by species and depth found.
