Presentation description
My research involves methods of ultrathin film preparation via magnetron sputtering and experimental techniques of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). FMR can be used to characterize the magnetic damping of ferromagnetic layers in the ultrathin film samples, and there is ongoing work to characterize ultrathin films comprised of two ferromagnetic layers separated by non-magnetic layers. Presented data may include FMR linewidth vs microwave source frequency and subsequent damping parameter extraction.
