Presentation description
With few effective options for treating chronic pain, there is a need for expanded treatment options. Diversifying chronic pain interventions is necessary to aid in alleviating pain in patients. This research investigates the relationship of mindfulness and decentering as predictors of resilience and pain interference. It dives into the decentering process within mindfulness and how it may predict higher levels of resilience, and thus a decrease in chronic pain levels.
