Presentation description
The total volume of Salt Lake Valley (SLV) groundwater storage is unknown, yet the United States Geological Survey (USGS) estimates of groundwater inflow into the Great Salt Lake (GSL) have remained consistent since 1977, suggesting it accounts for ~3% of total inflow into the lake. Seasonal input varies greatly depending on recharge from runoff. These inconsistencies in annual variability can make it difficult to predict future groundwater conditions and even quantify in the short term. Global
