Presentation description
Breast cancer accounts for 1 in 3 of all new female cancer diagnoses annually. Emerging research highlights the importance of lipid metabolism in supporting cancer cell survival and growth. In this project, we explored how lipid metabolites like ceramide affect breast cancer cell growth. Results show a dose-dependent effect, suggesting that targeting lipid metabolism may offer new strategies for breast cancer therapy.
