Presentation description
Analysis of drought response data of rural ranches in Baja California Sur, Mexico responding to the significant drought in 2020-2022. The project focused on cattle vs. goat ranching outcomes according to wealth, land security, and herd composition. Our findings challenge assumptions about livestock resilience in arid climates and offer valuable insights into sustainable ranching practices in the face of climate extremes.
