Presentation description
Chronic viral infections are potential triggers for various human diseases, yet the role of environmental pathogens in this context remains largely unexplored. This study investigates the presence of plant virus-associated proteins in human plasma. Plasma samples were analyzed with triple and double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays to detect proteins that bind antibodies against Tomato Ringspot Virus (ToRSV), Grapevine Fleck Virus (GFKV), and Pea Enation Mosaic Virus (PEMV).
