Intensive Therapy Models for Young Children with Neurodevelopmental Conditions: Evidence and Considerations

Semester: Spring 2025

Presentation description

This research examines whether the ACQUIRE model intensive therapeutic approach improves motor, self-care, and overall developmental skills in young children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Limited data exist on the correlation between rehabilitation dosage and functional skill acquisition. Understanding optimal therapy dosage is crucial for promoting development, reducing caregiver burden, and maximizing insurance reimbursement for effective therapy services.
