In recent years, there has been a rise in the usage of Two Factor Authentication (2FA) as a means of increasing online security, especially at universities. While 2FA has enhanced security, there has been less focus on its impact on user experience, especially in an academic environment. This study aims to understand the effect of 2FA on user experience by analyzing login screens at universities in the United States.
