Presentation description
My research explores how blood flow affects vessel narrowing in dialysis access. Using imaging and modeling, we found that artery-vein connections promote healthier vessel walls due to higher blood flow forces, while synthetic grafts, which are less studied, may be more prone to narrowing. These insights can help guide physicians in improving long-term dialysis access.
