This project investigates how Great Salt Lake Dust impacts lung cells. GSLD has been linked to respiratory risks. Through exploring mechanisms of TRP ion channel activation, another trigger of lung inflammation, these experiments aim to inform potential treatments for dust-induced lung damage.
