Presentation description
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a lethal malignancy characterized by an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. Recent evidence suggests that overproduced fibrin forms a dense barrier in the stroma, restricting immune cell infiltration and promoting tumor growth. Using a fibrinogen-deficient KPC mouse model, this research investigates how fibrin accumulation affects immune cells in PDAC and explores fibrin as a key immunomodulatory factor.
