Presentation description

Following a mTBI, individuals often experience difficulty in activities that include simultaneous motor and cognitive tasks. While impairments are common after concussion, they can be exacerbated during dual task conditions. The purpose of my research is to investigate the effect of ST vs DT condition on postural control during tandem gait in individuals with a mTBI compared to healthy controls. Postural control was quantified using inertial sensors over a series of tandem gait evaluations.
