Presentation description

This study examined whether simulation with standardized patients improves PMHNP students' therapeutic communication, clinical reasoning, and adaptability. Eighteen students were evaluated in midterm and final simulations. Analysis showed reduced interfering behaviors and improvements across all skill areas, indicating simulation effectively supports readiness for advanced psychiatric practice.
