Effects of V2-V1 Feedback Suppression in Non-human Primates

Semester: Fall 2024

Presentation description

This study investigated the effects of optogenetically suppressing top-down feedback (FB) signals between the secondary visual cortex (V2) and the primary visual cortex (V1) in nonhuman primates. Electrophysiological recordings coupled with optogenetic techniques were employed to assess neuronal activity in non-human primate V1. The data were analyzed using advanced computational methods, including spike sorting and statistical analysis.
