Presentation description

This study examined how psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) students developed rapport and goal-oriented care through simulation-based education. Eighteen students' midterm and final simulations were coded using a structured behavioral codebook. Results showed significant improvement in engagement, emotional connection, shared decision-making, and structured session direction, supporting simulation as an effective training tool.
