Determining the Impact of Lake Powell Levels and Seasonal Variations on the Colorado River by Analyzing USGS Cores to Link Sedimentary Facies, Depositional Environments, and Pre-2018 Events in Lake Powell’s History.

Semester: Spring 2025

Presentation description

I have been analyzing core photos from the USGS taken in 2018 from the Colorado river. I have assigned lithology logs and facies logs next to each core to construct an understanding of river/lake dynamics over time.
