Creatine supplementation gives prostate cancer patients the opportunity to exercise and preserve a better quality of life

Semester: Spring 2025

Presentation description

Our study introduces the importance of creatine monohydrate supplementation to overcome fatigue by preserving muscle mass. It increases the available creatine and phosphocreatine in skeletal muscle giving individuals more energy to increase exercise capacity, and training volume. The hope of the study is to make creatine monohydrate supplementation a normal part of treatment for those with mCSPC, and to help preserve muscle mass to increase survival and quality of life.
