Presentation description
We are currently studying the floral and faunal macrofossils from Ladder Cave in the northern Snake Range of Nevada. It is close to the border of Nevada and Utah and adjacent to Great Basin National Park. This cave was selected because of its proximity to the pluvial Lake Bonneville shoreline during its high stand to its regressive period. This proximity allows for a higher level of biodiversity in the cave itself. We have found bones from birds, fish, mammals, and herpetofauna.
