Presentation description
This study examines how traumatic brain injury deforms cerebral arteries and causes collagen loss, weakening vessel structure. Using microsphere markers to measure micro-strain and fluorescent peptides to detect damaged collagen, the research links mechanical strain to collagen degradation. This method may improve detection of vascular injury and enhance TBI diagnosis and treatment.|
