Project description

The Utah Parkinson's Disease registry is recruiting one volunteer to conduct chart review of medical records.

Student Role: The student will read medical records and record the patient data in the Parkinson's Disease Registry (UPDR). The student will be required to receive training in clinical research. They will be invited to shadow neurologists in clinic and will be invited to attend meetings with the Utah team of physicians and researchers and the Utah Department of Health team from the epidemiology division.
Student Benefits: The student will receive training in clinical research, learn chart review, shadow doctors, and attend meetings on the direction of the UPDR. This is a good opportunity for students who are interested in medical school or epidemiology.
