Project description
My overarching research goal is to improve cognitive outcomes after pediatric TBI. This project uses controlled cortical impact to induce traumatic brain injury in rat pups to study the effects of docosahexaenoic acid and sex on tests of learning and memory, brain imaging and histology. We seek in-person volunteers who are able to dedicate 6+ hours per week. We will provide all training necessary.
