Project description
The College of Social Work at the University of Utah is seeking a Research Assistant to support a new project focused on reviewing peer-reviewed literature on culturally tailored interventions for addressing trauma and gender-based violence within Indigenous communities. This project aims to identify and synthesize interventions addressing domestic and sexual violence, specifically, those adapted to meet the unique needs of Indigenous populations. The findings will contribute to a peer-reviewed manuscript, offering opportunities for student co-authorship.

- Conduct literature reviews to gather research on trauma and gender-based violence interventions tailored for Indigenous communities
- Extract and organize data from selected studies to identify promising interventions and gaps in the research
- Attend weekly project meetings to discuss progress and receive training
- Contribute to data synthesis, table preparation, and the preparation of a peer-reviewed manuscript
- Collaborate closely with the research team to ensure the project’s success
