Project Description:

This is a qualitative research project exploring the lives, educational trajectories, and classroom experiences of graduate students of color in STEM programs at primarily white institutions.

Opportunity Type:

This is a paid research position

Student Role:

Supporting the analysis and write up of interviews with graduate students of color in STEM.

Student Benefits:

Develop skills in qualitative research, academic publishing, and learn how to work on team research. $15/hr for ten hours a week.

Project Duration:

10 hours per week for 10 weeks to start, possibly continuation based on performance and funding.

Minimum Requirements:

Interest in studying issues of race in the sciences.
