Project Description:

Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; This is a paid research position; Prepare a UROP proposal; Write an Honors Thesis


Student Role:

Task will vary according to experience, but could range from assisting with experiments to abstract/manuscript preparation.


Student Benefits:

Students who have worked in my laboratory have co-authored abstracts and manuscripts. This has helped with application to graduate and professional schools.


Project Duration:

A person would need to be available for at least the fall and spring terms, and preferably for two years. Some weekend work is possible. Hours would vary based on background.


Minimum Requirements:

Junior or senior students, whose coursework included chemistry and physiology would be the most appropriate.
