Dr. Fukushima is working with multiple stakeholders in Utah to further understand and address current responses to strangulation in intimate partner and domestic violence cases.
Volunteer; Prepare a UROP proposal; Earn independent study credit
Research secondary literature, data analysis, data collection, interviews, coordinating events / discussions / meetings for Dr. Fukushima, attend meetings.
Students will learn research in interdisciplinary research. Dr. Fukushima research bridges qualitative and quantitative data analysis. She is also an expert in social movement
Student will be expected to commit 10 hours a week.
Student should be a third+ year student with an interest in interdisciplinary, the social sciences or the humanities research.
