Project Description:

I am working with colleagues on a number of projects examining a range of social environmental factors on child developmental outcomes. The goal is to write a few papers using data we collected in Beijing and Anhui Province as well as national and longitudinal surveys.



Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; This is a work-study research position; Prepare a UROP proposal; Write an Honors Thesis; Earn independent study credit


Student Role:

The student RA can help with the literature search and reference management and can also help with analysis if she or he is up to it.


Student Benefits:

The study will gain research experience and potentially get a co-authored publication in the future.


Project Duration:

several months; flexible depending on the students' ability and interest


Minimum Requirements:

The student has taken courses like statistics, research methods and have some knowledge of a statistical package such as Stata, SAS and R.
